Great authentic experience of Sri Lankan cuisine - with intense flavours from starters to dessert. If you go you must try the devilled lamb starter, mutton kothu and Ceylon chicken curry. Make sure to leave some room as the homemade Watalappan cake (together w/ homemade vanilla ice cream) is a great way to finish the meal. Will go back soon to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

I have visited some of the best Michelin star Sri-Lankan restaurants in London and this little gem deserves a spot right next to them! The food, service and ambience is exquisite! We were served by Jay and he couldn't not have been more attentive, friendly and helpful. A huge thank you to him, his manager and the lovely lady who served us! Everything the team recommended was simply delicious! Finally, we have a decent place to go to in Eastcoat!

My husband and I went for dinner at Virundhu last week and we absolutely loved the food. There was a good variety of Sri Lankan dishes to choose from. The staff were very helpful and the service was great. The cocktails were fantastic and had a Sri Lankan twist to them. We had the coconut mojito which complimented our meal really well. We most definitely will be visiting Virundhu again. Highly recommend!
